What Is Covered

Items marked as covered by Buyer Assurance are eligible when an undisclosed defect or missing essential component prevents the item’s basic intended use. Coverage applies to Buy Now, accepted-offer, and auction purchases.

Seven-Day Claim Period

A claim must be submitted through your BuyOfferBid account within seven calendar days of the recorded pickup time. Cosmetic wear consistent with the displayed condition grade, disclosed issues, buyer’s remorse, misuse, accidental damage, and compatibility issues not caused by an inaccurate listing are not covered.

Submit Through BuyOfferBid First

Do not bring an item to the pickup location before submitting a claim. The item may be returned only after the claim status changes to Return Approved. The pickup location cannot create or approve claims.

Approved Physical Returns

After Return Approved, bring the purchased item to the stated pickup location by the deadline shown in your BuyOfferBid account. Pickup staff will verify the authorization and record that the item was received. BuyOfferBid will inspect it later; receiving the item does not itself approve credit or a refund.

Resolution

Approved full returns ordinarily receive BuyOfferBid account credit for the item price and applicable tax originally charged. That credit may only be used toward future purchases made through BuyOfferBid and cannot be used for purchases made directly at the pickup location. If a listing materially misrepresented an item, BuyOfferBid may instead issue a refund to the original payment method.

As-Is Items

Items clearly marked As-Is — Not Covered are final sale and are excluded from Buyer Assurance.
